Felicitation Program

On the occasion of World Heart Day 2025, Nepal Heart Foundation organized a special Appreciation Ceremony for Donors of the Endowment Fund and End RHD Fund on Ashoj 10, 2082 (September 26, 2025) at the Foundation’s Central Meeting Hall. The program was conducted by Mr. Komal Prakash Ghimire, Central General Secretary, and chaired by Dr. Satya Narayan Suwal, President of Nepal Heart Foundation. The event began with the formal seating of dignitaries, including the Foundation’s executive members and generous donors, followed by a warm welcome address by Vice President Dr. Pushpa Raj Rajkarnikar.

The first part of the program featured insightful remarks by distinguished former presidents of the Foundation. Mr. Dilli Prakash Ghimire highlighted the objectives of the program and the management of the Heart Disease Treatment Support Fund. Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi elaborated on the operation, management and impact of the End RHD Campaign and End RHD Fund, while Mr. Balram Neupane shared about the effective utilization of the Branch Strengthening Fund. Their speeches emphasized the Foundation’s continuous commitment to improving heart health across Nepal and ensuring transparency and sustainability in fund management.

The event culminated with the presentation of appreciation letters and frame to the respected donors by President Dr. Satya Narayan Suwal. Representatives from various donor groups expressed their gratitude, including Ms. Rama Sharma on behalf of the Heart Disease Treatment Fund and Mr. R.R. Pandey along with representatives of the Padmodaya Veterans Club on behalf of the End RHD Fund. The program successfully celebrated the generosity and shared vision of all contributors dedicated to eradicating Rheumatic heart disease and promoting cardiovascular well-being throughout Nepal.
