Public Awareness Program

An Interactive talk program organized on May 12, 2025 and May 14, 2025 to educate 79 (26 public from Rukum Paschim and 53 public from RukumPurba) local people of Rukum Paschim and Rukum Purba Districts. Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi gave a talk on Lifestyle and heart diseases. Following that a panel consisting of cardiologists were formed to answer the queries of the participants. The panel consists of following doctors, Dr.Satya Narayan Suwal, Dr. Prakash raj Regmi, Dr.Prem Raj Baidya, Dr.Abani Bhushan Upadhyaya. Dr.Urmila Shakya, Dr. Ajay Adhikari and Dr.Nishan Bhattarai. Participants were encouraged to put their queries on heart disease and lifestyle. Those queries were answered by panellists to their satisfaction.

A class on rheumatic heart disease was conducted by RHD Educator Keshav Prasad Dhakal to 147 students of the school of Jajarkot district and 207 students of schools of Salyan districts
