Free Heart Health Camp at Bandipur Hospital
Bandipur, Tanahun | 20 June 2026
The Nepal Heart Foundation (NHF), in coordination with Edwards Lifesciences foundation, the Rotary Club of Patan and Bandipur Hospital, successfully organized a Free Heart Health Camp on 20 June 2026 at Bandipur Hospital to promote early detection and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
A total of 365 patients received comprehensive cardiac health services during the camp. Among them, 232 patients underwent Electrocardiography (ECG) and 230 received Echocardiography (ECHO) for the diagnosis of heart conditions. In addition, all 365 participants had their blood pressure and blood sugar levels checked as part of cardiovascular risk assessment. The screening identified a considerable number of individuals with elevated blood pressure and high blood sugar, emphasizing the importance of regular health check-ups and timely intervention.
Patients diagnosed with heart-related conditions and other health concerns received medical consultation, counselling on healthy lifestyle practices, and free medicines worth approximately NPR 500,000 to support their treatment.
The Nepal Heart Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to the healthcare professionals, and volunteers for their invaluable support in making the camp a success. Through such community outreach programs, NHF remains committed to improving access to quality cardiac care, promoting heart health awareness, and reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases across Nepal.
