The fifth Madhesh Provincial Meeting of the Nepal Heart Foundation (NHF) was held on May 11, 2024, at the Seven Star Hotel, Dhanusha Provinces. The meeting was chaired by Mathur Prasad Yadav, the Provincial Coordinator. Sunita Devi Yadav, the Secretary of the Madhesh Provincial Committee, acted as the Master of Ceremonies (MC).
Six out of the eight districts of Madhesh Province were represented in the meeting. Each district presented its progress and initiatives conducted during the year in regards to heart health. The meeting provided a platform for sharing experiences and discussing challenges to improve heart healthcare in the province.
Dr. Satya Narayan Suwal, the President of NHF, graced the event as the principal guest. Vice-president, general secretary, treasurer and past president of NHF were also present as honored guests. Their presence added valuable insights and perspectives to the discussions.
A total of 21 participants, including President, Past Presidents, and members of central committee and representatives from the districts, actively participated in the meeting. The discussions revolved around initiatives taken by districts, strategies to enhance heart health awareness and improve access to cardiac care facilities.
Overall, the Fifth Madhesh Provincial Meeting of NHF served as a fruitful platform for fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and advancing initiatives aimed at promoting heart health in the region.
