INTRODUCTION
Nepal Heart Foundation A Service Oriented Organization Having understood the seriousness of Cardiovascular diseases and the impact throughout the country, a group of professionals initiated a noble venture to establish Nepal Heart Foundation (NHF) in the non-governmental sector in 2045 BS (1988 AD). It is registered at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu with the aim to work in the areas of prevention, control and treatment of heart diseases and rehabilitation then after. The Foundation is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Nepal. The NHF is a member of the World Heart Federation and Asia Pacific Heart Network. NHF’s objective is to act as a service oriented organization in prevention of heart diseases and to ensure better life, free of heart diseases. It is with immense pride and an overwhelming sense of responsibility that I address you as the President of the Nepal Heart Foundation(NHF). Ever since its founding in 1988 (2045 BS), NHF has been apioneering institution in the field of cardiovascular health, founded by a team of passionate medical personnel and public health practitioners determined to combat the spurt in the incidence of heartdiseases in Nepal.
