Heart Screening of school children
On May 13, 14, and 16, 2025, Nepal Heart Foundation, in coordination with NHF Branches of Rukum Paschim, Adho ccommitte of Rukum Purba and NHF Brach of Salyan and Rotary club of Patan, conducted heart screenings in Rukum Purba, Rukum Paschim, and Salyan districts, respectively. A total of 9029 students from 50 schools were examined using stethoscopes—2888 in Rukum Purba,2844in Rukum Paschim, and 3297 in Salyan districts. Students with suspected murmurs underwent echo cardiography, with 298 tested in Rukum Purba, 302 in Rukum Paschim, and 401 in Salyan. Free Heart Health Camp
A Free Heart Health Camp was organized on 11 and 12 May 2025 by Nepal Heart Foundation in coordination with the Rotary Club of Patan and Jajarkot District Hospital at District Hospital Jajarkot. In this heart Camp Total 875 patients wereexamined among them 150 patients were checked by ECG and 150 were checked by Echo. During the heart health camp, 2 people were identified requiring immediate surgical intervention and were referred to Kathmandu for further intervention. Medicine worth Rs. 5 Lakhs were distributed free of cost.
