31st Annual General Meeting

Nepal Heart Foundation has successfully organized the 31st Annual General Meeting on 17 December 2022 at the Ugrachandi Hotel of Kavre, Banepa. The Program was hosted by the Kavre Branch of NHF. The program was chaired by the President of NHF, Mr. Balaram Neupane. A chief guest of the program was Mr. Shanti Ratna Shakya, Mayor of Banepa Municipality while the special guest of the program is Senior Consultant Cardiologist, Prof. Dr. Mrigendra Raj Pandey, The Patron and Charter President of NHF. Altogether 26 branches and 1 Adhoc committee participated in the Meeting. Progress reports of all the branches were presented in the meeting by respective branch representatives. Five different awards were distributed to people and organizations as listed below which were presented by Chief Guest, The Patron and Charter President, and NHF President.

1. Damodar Sharma Heart Health Support accolade was presented to Mr. Ashok Kumar Shrestha for creating public awareness and working for the Heart Health campaign.

2. Mrigendra Chikitsa Guthi award was given to Senior Surgeon Dr. Prem Raj Baidya for meritorious service in Heart Health.

3. Senior Cardiologist Dr. Om Murti Anil was awarded Mrigendra Chikitsa Guthi Oration for his contribution to the heart health sector.

4. Best performing district award 2079 was endowed to the Gulmi branch from the Branch Strengthening Akshaya Kosh established by Mr. Balaram Neupane.

5. Outstanding District award 2079 was granted to the Lalitpur branch for best performance.

A program was conducted for two consecutive days and concluded on 18 December 2022.
